Outfit of the Day

(Sorry for the awful quality of this. My Macbook usually takes decent photos but this ones a bit iffy). No stripes today ^-^

Tie Dye Crop Top, under £15, Skull and Bones Boys Club

This is an old crop from a couple years back now, around the time when SABBC first really came to light and now they’ve just exploded and gone from strength to strength. (I’ll do a proper write up about SABBC in a couple of days because they’re just too fantastic and hardworking to put into a little paragraph). Anyways this was an old season shirt so isn’t available now but they do have a new collection out called Menace To Sobriety and have only bloody gone and started selling pint glasses as part of the bundle with it. They do release quite a few bits of tie dye so just follow them and keep a look out

Light Before Dark Super High-Rise Skinny Jeans in Black, £55, Urban Outfitters

'Hologram' Heart Round Sunglasses, £5, Urban Outfitters

Bought these sunglasses last year thinking they were ACTUALLY holographic but they arrived and they’ve basically just got reflective heart stickers stuck on, which although was a massive disappointment, they still look alright on. For a fiver you can’t really complain but i’m still on the look out for a good pair of holographic sunglasses.

Here’s a few pairs/ shops selling them that I’ve found so far:

3D Hologram Sunglasses, Giant Vintage

Unique Hologram Shades, $7.50, The Cobra Shop

90’s Vintage Eagle Shades, £7.22, ShopHeadToToeVintage

Vintage 90’s All Seeing Eye Giftset - Sunglasses, Choker, Pin, £12.00, PenelopeMeatloaf

Outfit of the Day

Got a thing about wearing stripes at the moment. Pretty much the same as my last OOTD post but with a few tweaks.

Denim Jacket, Dorothy Perkins (it’s a few years old so no longer available but after a quick browse I found one by New Look that is the spit of it and an absolute steal for only £20)

Striped Short Sleeve Tee, H&M, under £10 (chucked the price tag in the bin before posting about it but it will 100% be under £10). A fairly new piece from the Divided Basics collection so if it’s not in your nearest store, chances are they just haven’t recieved it yet. It’s super lightweight so perfect for hot days like today. Mines in a small as I like them a little baggy and then just tuck one side into some high waisted jeans.

If you’re wanting this one specifically, you can ring your nearest store, give them a brief description as well as the order code which is: 477151, otherwise here are some substitutes:

Jersey Top, £3.99, H&M Divided Basics

Black and White Stripe Wide V Neck T-Shirt, £4.00, New Look

Light Before Dark Super High-Rise Skinny Jeans in Black, £55, Urban Outfitters

Black Laced Shoes, £19.99, H&M. These shoes aren’t on the website and we only had a handful come into store but I HAD to get a pair. They’re very Dr. Martens esque and they look like these but without the yellow stitching and they’re all black. I did think they’d look quite blokish on at first but after putting them on I fell in love with them. They’re super comfy too and work with most looks but personally I like rolled up black skinnies with them the best. Again, as they’re new season they might take a couple weeks to arrive in your nearest store but if/once they do, definitely go try them on and you’ll be running to the till in no time. For only £20 as well, you really can’t go wrong!

If you’re wanting these specifically, you can ring your nearest store, give them a brief description: Divided footwear, black leather flat shoes, black laces, £19.99, product code: 913900

Sunglasses, Marks and Spencers (old season and are getting a little loose now) - which makes me even more excited to receive my Penelope Meatloaf Dangerous Kitty “Singlasses”, £16.77, PenelopeMeatloaf. Love the cat eye style sunglasses but there’s not that many available on the high street, unless of course you want a load of plastic flowers on top of them which i’ve never understood the appeal of, so I’d recommend hitting up Etsy and have a browse at some of the wonderfully created and unique sunglasses on there (:

Just added the Spotify Play Button to my page so now all the embarrassing tracks I listen to can be seen and heard by everyone (:

Kept it fairly good today though with the incredible From Under The Cork Tree album (playing is the Limited Tour edition) by Fall Out Boy. 9 years since it was released but I still love it just as much as I did when I was 13

For those wanting to add a player to your page, and not one of those annoying ones that plays instantly, here’s the link - really simple to set up (:

Outfit of the Day

Keeping it simple with a striped long sleeve shirt and black highwaisted jeans.

Striped Long Sleeve, Primark (forget the price but wouldn’t have been more than a fiver. You can pick up a basic top like this from most high street retailers)

Light Before Dark Super High-Rise Skinny Jeans in Black, £55, Urban Outfitters  (would recommend washing them before first wear as they seemed a little loose and not as skinny as I’d imagined but after one wash they’re tighter and fit much better)

(: x

Day off, night in.

For a day in which i’ve spent entirely in my pyjamas, it’s been very productive. And - as we can see - I finally have my sofa (the green granny monstrosity from back home, spruced up a little).

Now watching that Harry Potter matey shit himself in a house with a ghost. - The Woman in Black (2012)
